CrimAI

Agent-based Modeling for Crime Theory Test meeting (in Leiden)

Eric Araújo

A few weeks ago a group of scientists from different fields gathered to discuss a joint work during the ABM4CTT workshop. The results of the work that each of the scientists is doing will turn into a book, to be released next year. I was present, as I’m working with Dr Charlotte in a study of street robbery and simulations in Lavras. We presented the updates of our work and received very good feedback and remarks from our colleagues.

Besides the workshop, meetings were held with Dr Henk Ellfers and Dr Wim Bernasco, both researchers at the NSCR.

This work is part of the CrimAI projects aiming to understand, predict and prevent crimes using AI tools and knowledge.
